Carole .... Well here in the UK it is now after 11pm so not much left of 2014. It has been a very mixed year for me and not without its heartaches, its highs and its lows. I have seen my son married and happy and that is the most important thing in my entire life to me. He always comes first with me. I myself have had some health issues, partly resolved. One highlight for me is this page which on bad days has lifted my spirits and taken me into another world of cats and fantasy. Some days I have not felt like posting here but a moments thought about the people who are waiting to welcome us has changed that and often turned my day around. I hope we too have lifted your spirits on bad days. Life is not about possessions, money, success, things, it is about people and relationships. The other things are the icing on the cake but it is the people that really matter. Some people in my life have greatly disappointed me and let me down but we have to move on with the people who do not let us down and appreciate them and their worth. I expect you can tell from this that I am feeling a wee bit down as the year draws to a close. I have been thinking about the old days when the New Year was a huge celebration and a happy time for me. Not any more, I wish it over because of painful memories and people lost. I am quite sure many of you can relate to that with me. I could pretend to be cheerful but that would be dishonest of me. However, I shall pick myself up and try to *celebrate* a fresh start with a New Year. I always feel relieved when the changeover is past. I want to wish each and every one of you much joy, peace, good health and happiness in the coming 2015. Most of all I wish you peace because I value peace of mind very highly myself as it can be elusive. There are a lot of good people here who deserve the best in life and I hope it is out there for you. I am not going to read this back before I post it because if I do I might not post it.
