Carolina Clash R/C Series This will be a series of 6 races total. There will be 3 held at Pop’$ RC Super Speedway located at 4 Tall Pines Rd in Fountain Inn SC 29644. There will also be 3 held at Mobile Hobbies located at 116 Bobby Blanton Rd Shelby, NC 28150. 1st March 14th at Mobile Hobbies Raceway 2nd April 18th at Pops RC Super Speedway 3rd May 23rd `at Mobile Hobbies Raceway 4th June 20th at Pops RC Super Speedway 5th July 25th at Mobile Hobbies Raceway 6th August 15th at Pops RC Super Speedway Points will be figured based on the table below: The 3rd and 6th races will be counted as double points races. You will also be awarded points if you race 4 or more races. 6 Races = 60 Bonus Points. 5 Races =40 Bonus Points. 4 Races =20 Bonus Points. Point tables listed below. Classes we will be running in this series will be: 17.5 Late-model Pro 17.5 Late-model Sportsman B4 Street Stock B4 Late-model 17.5 Sprint DODC Spec SCT Breakout SCT Mod 1/10 LLM 1/8 Nitro DLMRA 1/8 Electric DLMRA 1/10 Dominator 17.5 Cadet ( Entry Level) 13.5 Spec RULES for classes are as follow: General Rules All races will be 4 minutes in length. Any cars damaged and placed in the infield will remain there until that race is over. All cars will be made available for tech inspection before and after race. Once a car has gone through tech before the race it must go directly to the track and not to pit area. It is the Drivers responsibility to bring the vehicle to the Tech table immediately following your turn marshal duties. Failure to do so will result disqualification. Any violation must be corrected BEFORE the car is raced. If a car passes through Pre Race Tech Inspection and a technical illegality is over-looked, the vehicle is still illegal. Any racer may front $50 for tech inspection for any car on the track - if the car is found to be legal the $50 will be forfeited and given to the legal racer. Tires may be Foam tires or rubber tires may be used but must be readily available for purchase (no prototype tires) Tire additives that are used must be wiped clean from the tires before any races or practice sessions. No Grease, No Silicone or Silicone impregnated tires. All oval Cars are rolling starts. Electric Mains are also rolling starts. No car will be driven at any time in reverse of the track traffic. If this occurs, a one-lap penalty will be deducted off the driver’s best time. The use of reverse is illegal in all classes. All drivers must turn marshal the race immediately following their race. Turn marshals may not work on or repair cars. Penalties will be issued for not being on the track to Marshall. There are numbered places on the track where you will marshal after you place your car and radio at the impound table. They are number 1, 2, 3 etc. if you start in position number 3 then you are required to be marshalling in # 3 area. There are no warnings - if you are not in # 3 area at the start of the next race your best qualifying time will be disqualified for the day. If you are unable to marshal, you are responsible to have some marshal in your designated area. Marshaling spots will be made clear at the drivers meeting. Practice for this series will be the Friday Night prior to the event. Race day each class only get (1) 5min hot lap session. DO NOT ENTER THE TRACK UNTIL YOUR CLASS CALLED UPON. Any violation the penalty will be to start in the rear of his/her heat/main 1st offence. 2nd Offence will be automatic DQ. (This is to help ensure that all events run in a timely fashion, and all drivers will receive equal track time.) ALL Drivers must sign in before entering the track for Practice, Hot laps etc. Drivers Must Sign in a Min of 1hour before the first heats begin, if you are going to be late you must call ahead to ensure a spot. Track Officials will not be responsible for missed calls or texts. (Call a Friend) Once a driver signs into his/her race there will be No substitute drivers. No refunds will be given for cars broken during practice, heats etc. • Conduct: No Cursing, Swearing, or throwing items of any sort no matter who they may belong to • No Smoking in any indoor area this includes the bathroom and no cigarettes are to be thrown on the ground there will be designated areas for them. • No intentional damage to any fellow racers or race track property will be tolerated. If these actions are caught without any reasonable doubt all parties involved will be banned it is the tracks discretion as to how long. • All Electrical Classes are subject to a Motor/and or ESC Buyout. • All Buyouts will pay Retail Price per buyout. • Protest/ and or Buyouts maybe done only by the contestants that have a podium finish. • Buyouts may only be done by one(1) position behind (Example= if Driver B finishes 2nd in the A-Main he/her has 5 minutes to approach a track official to protest the contestant that finished 1st. At this time track officials will notify the contestant that finished first and if Driver B chooses to buyout both motor and Speed Control track officials will inform both parties of the Retail Value of said Buyout. • To make this as simple as possible you have to have a podium finish to buyout the driver who finished one spot ahead of you. All Buyouts/protest must be done within 5 minutes of the finish of the A-Main. • • A huge THANKS to all of you for your continued support. We hope to kick off and have a fantastic fun filled 2015 season! • 17.5 Late model and Classes and 17.5 Sprint will be running DODC Spec Rules • 13.5 Late model DODC Spec • B4 Street Stock and Late model Will run the stock gears 21/81 , Custom Works Rubber Tires mounted on Custom Works wheels, Stock Mounted Diameter only, Any tire larger than a new out of the pack CW tire will be disqualified, Car must remain in box style form with the box stock rtr parts with the exception of CVD’s to replace dog bones, Street Stock or( Late model bodies are DODC Approved) body must be off the approved list, Rear Spoiler can be no higher than 2” from the rear deck lid. B4 classes will run DODC battery pack or smaller MAH & C rated batteries (Example Sky Lipo 3300mah 20c packs will still be allowed.) SCT Breakout is any 1/10 electric truck, must not be any faster than 7 sec lap times • SCT Mod is any 2wd Short Course Truck production chassis, Any Motor, Any Speedo, Any 2cell Lipo, Tires: No foam tires, Any rubber tire as long as it doesn’t tear up the track surface, No 1/10 scale 2wd or 4wd buggy tires are allowed to be ran in this class, Body: Must be an EDM style or dirt modified open front end style body, No truck bodies or late model bodies. • 1/10 LLM DODC Rules apply • 1/10 Dominator: Any 4wd production chassis, Foam Tire, any roar approved 10.5 Motor, Speed Control must remain in blinky mode at this time, any roar approved 2cell lipo, price cap is $130.00 on battery. Late model style body with a side dam height TBD, • 1/8 Electric DLMRA • 1/8 Nitro DLMRA (2015 season) Aluminum exhaust pipes only. any (.21) 3 port motor. The motor must Retail @ $200.00 or less. The motor must remain as bought from the manufacture (No EXCEPTIONS!!!)**** Please Note the Motor list for the (2016) list is subject to change for the (2016) season. There will be a motor buy out rule. Anyone with a podium finish after the A-Main may buy out the next position ups motor. Example: Driver A finishes 3rd he has 5mins after the A-Main is complete to buy the second place finishers motor etc. Driver A will then pay the track official $200.00 (Cash only).At this time the track official will notify driver B that he has been protested. Driver B will then have the option to sell his motor, minus header, flywheel and clutch. (MOTOR ONLY) If driver B opts out of the buyout he will then be Disqualified, at which he/or she will receive 0 points. Carolina Clash R/C Series Points 1ST & 2ND from B_main will transfer to A-Main and their points will be based on finishing position A-MAIN/ B-MAIN 1st 100 /1ST **** 2nd 95 /2ND **** 3rd 90 /3RD 50 4th 85/ 4TH 50 5th 80 /5TH 50 6th 75 /6TH 50 7th 70 /7TH 50 8th 65/ 8TH 50 9th 60 /9TH 50 10th 55/ 10TH 50 1ST & 2ND from B_main will transfer to A-Main and their points will be based on finishing position In the event that you have a C-Main Class all non-transferring drivers will get (45) points Double points races the 3rd&6th Race will be scored in 10 point increments A-Main/ B-Main 1st 200 /1st **** 2nd 190 /2nd **** 3rd 180 /3rd 100 4th 170 /4th 100 5th 160/ 5th 100 6th 150 /6th 100 7th 140 /7th 100 8th 130 /8th 100 9th 120 /9th 100 10th 110 /10th 100 In the event that you have a C-Main Class all non-transferring drivers will get (90) on Double Point Races
