Carolyn and I are headed to my 50th high school reunion. Wow, 50 years sure goes by quickly. Yesterday it was a cocktail party at the Barefoot bar on Mission bay. About a hundred alumni were there. Some were almost recognizable. The years had been kind to everyone; However the weeks and months had been brutal to many. I encountered several old flames (with the emphasis on old); different girls that had dumped me in third grade... fourth grade... fifth grade... sixth grade... Jr. high ...and high school. Its amazing I persevered and finally found the right one. We celebrated 46 years last week and she hasnt dumped me yet. What a smart woman...
