Carpentry Internship-300 hr AmeriCorps term available now I am currently recruiting for a great internship opportunity that we received through Texas Parks and Wildlife with McKinney Falls State Park. The internship involves working directly under the carpentry/maintenance team at McKinney Falls to repair and weatherize cabins at the park, along with other maintenance projects from fencing to decking. I am recruiting from TxCC alum but would like to open the floor for CVB alumni as well. It is a 300hr AmeriCorps internship though we are taking non-AmeriCorps, but the pay is the same ($54/day with an education award-for AC members). Start date is 3/31 and it will end 6/7. Interns are required to have their own housing and transportation though camping will be available at the park for the duration of the internship. Although Interns would work solely at McKinney Falls and under their staff direction, they will still report and turn in paper work to the appropriate TxCC Field Coordinator.
