Carrie 2002 Review What they did here was take a great movie and made it more like the book. While there are similar scenes of the 1976 version, it has many added scenes. It reveals how Carrie White was as a little girl and how her mother corrupted her with religious beliefs. Sue is talking to the police in the movie about what happened on Prom Night. Even though the prom scene is kind of the same there are many differences. Finally, the end of the movie is different from the original. I really wished they continued with this series. I think it would have made a great series and a lot of Carrie fans would love to see what would happen if Carrie just simply relocated.
