Carrie says: I had a c section three weeks ago and Dr is already pushing me for answers on what birth control I would like to use by my 6 week check up. He seems to really like the IUD Mirena but Im quite nervous about putting foreign objects in my body. Im 40 years old and this is our first AND LAST baby. Neither husband nor myself want more kids...we are too old and we had a heck of a time conceiving this baby with prior and painful miscarriages. Not to mention I went through hell at the end of this pregnancy that I dont care to endure again. Im also thinking maybe something more permanent. Thoughts? Experiences using this IUD? So confused...
