Cars and Coffee Wilmington was created because as car enthusiasts, we were lacking a real car scene in Wilmington. We have grown immensely over the past 24 months which reaffirms this. We promote the enthusiast-in a family atmosphere and want everyone to feel welcome. Whether you are a professional race car driver with a 100k sports car, or a 16 year old kid with your first car, we embrace you. At the end of the day we are all car people. That being said, we expect everyone to respect everyone else in the group. We want your opinions and we want your banter. We also want it done in a considerate manner. In a group so open and diverse as ours the Admins will err on the side of caution and delete abusive comments and posts etc... This is done on a judgment basis and each Admin has the authority to do so if they feel it is for the better good of the group. Being an Admin of any group or page is sometimes a thankless job. None of us get paid to Admin, we do it because we are all car people too and it helps bring people with a common interest together. I would like to take a moment to personally thank all of the Admins both past and present for helping build something from a backyard conversation between two people into the Cars and Coffee we have today. Thank you Tom Walsh, Travis Ray, Greg Martin, Chasity Marie, Sig Bear Jamison and last but not least the magnet that brings everything together Tom Walsh. Lets all play nice in the sandbox together and have a great 2015 car season!
