Carson has been making slow and steady progress. His inflamatory - TopicsExpress

Carson has been making slow and steady progress. His inflamatory markers are almost down to normal now. The infectious disease doctors came by today and they would like to repeat the chest CT again in the next week or two so they have an idea of how things are healing and how long to do antibiotics for. He lasted 40 min off his bipap yesterday and 45 min today. Today he did lots better today with the room air trial. He gets worn out and tired very easily. He loves music therapy and they usually wear him out and sing him to sleep before they go. Its so cute to see how much he loves them to sing to him. I am so ready for him to walk again! Hes working hard with physical therapy and stood up with his shoes on yesterday. I love this picture of him! He was smiling and saying cheese for me. Im so lucky to be his mom! Thank you to all our nurse friends for being so good at what you do. Unfortunately you have seen me at my worst the last few weeks. I appreciate your tender care of my little carson and all your support more than I can say!
