Case: Do you always eat Halal meat? Solution: I didnt care about it in India, but when I came here I was told to eat only Halal. Then my foster mom who lived in US for more than 25 years (pacchees saal se hollywood mein baithe huye hain!) said I could eat Kosher meat since Omaha was a small town and we didnt get halal meat easily and I had no car or help. So I ate Kosher meat and dont know what all meat I ate in India, it mustve been halal although a hindu butcher used to cut it in our home during Bakrid (Eid-al-adha), well only after its throat was slit by our muslim moulvisaab. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_al-Adha
