Casey at her Vet visit She has a fungal infection in her skin. Our vet, Mitch showed me the fungal spores in the microscope - they arent mites. He said she has them because her immunosuppressant is depleted. So she is on antifungal washes for four weeks, plus antibiotics. We are controlling the itching with Phenergan tabs. We have taken photos of her paws & ears to compare in the next visit in a fortnight. He said not to get too attached because the fungal infection could be a secondary infection & not the main problem (which is what Helens vet said to her) Hopefully with this and healthy foods he might be wrong.
