Cashing in on Globe Trotterss Experience: Background -- With the advent of globalization era, many Ugandans have had the opportunity to travel around the world. In the process, many have gained experience in different jobs, have witnessed many different approaches to solving problems, including production, packaging, relating, providing services, caring for others, work ethics, systems of trust, honesty and reciprocity, architectural designs, transportation, safety measures, signalling systems, investing surroundings, such as Parks for recreation to make it liveable etc. These experiences are the reasons that globalization has made possible the fusion of ideas and innovation within a short time. Innovation in Japan is no longer confined there, it is dispersed through media, social networks as this and others. Social media has made it possible to absorb and utilize these ideas and we should benefit from our access to the internet and social media at our disposal. The NUCI would like to invite you to share your unique experiences so that our followers - the young people in Northern Uganda, and other parts of Uganda can learn from you. Your experiences, observations and appreciation of these events, ways of doing things, attitudes and approaches etc may add value and stimulate innovation locally at home. Our people need to hear exemplary stories, discoveries, ways of seeing the immediate world, discovering values in our surroundings and making good of it to improve our lives. Please, find time to share with us here, your valuable stories, encounters, understanding of the world and the growing needs or opportunities out there that needs our collective or individual response...We must break with tradition, but knowledge is power only when it is shared with those who are able to utilise it.
