Cashpoint robbery at knife point in #Sunderland Police are appealing for information after a cash point robbery in Sunderland. At 8:43am on Saturday, June 7, police received a report that a man had approached a woman at a cashpoint in Hylton Road, near to the Post Office, threatened her with a knife and demanded she withdraw cash. The offender is described as wearing a green balaclava, a green fleece jacket and tracksuit bottoms. He may have been on a bike. The female victim who is 36, was left shaken but unhurt by the incident. Enquiries are at a very early stage and police are appealing for anyone who was in Hylton Road this morning and who saw anything to contact them on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 455 070614.
