Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Our God is a lovely and caring Father. He loves to care for His children. And when we cast all our cares or the things that can make us anxious on Him, He will surely care for us. For us to receive His care, we must first cast our worries on Him. We cannot cast our anxieties on Him and still be thinking about how to solve them. No, that is not the approach. In order for us to receive full care from our heavenly Father, we have to cast all our anxieties on Him and forget about them. That is faith at work. For He is the solution to any situation. As children of God, we must not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we must present our requests to God. Anxiety can kill us, thus, God has given us a way out: do not be anxious about anything! We should simply come to God in prayer and bring the things that can make us anxious to Him. If we obey in faith, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we should not worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink; or about our bodies, what we will wear. For life is more important than food, and the body more important than clothes....For our heavenly Father knows we need all these. What we need to seek first is the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all the things we seek after will be given to us as well. To God be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen!
