Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He - TopicsExpress

Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He shall never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail). Psalms 55:22 When we release the entire burden of our hearts to the Lord, He promises to sustain and keep us, therefore we shall not be moved.... Psalm 55: 22 says, God shall never allow the righteous to be moved (made to slip, fail or fall)... Dont you see.... We are held steadfast in the Lord. The only thing that has the ability to move us, is when we fail to keep our eyes upon Him and we begin to rely upon ourselves (our own strength) instead of fully depending upon Him as our Source of Peace and rest. A yielded heart will find much ease in releasing burdens and sorrows, with the assurance that God has everything under control and He knows exactly what we need; and our circumstances, dont bypass His loving care. Too many times we pick up what were not supposed to be carrying on our own and we fail to remember we have an Advocate and Intercessor who pleads for our cause. We carry the weight of our sorrows, so easily forgetting we have a Sovereign God whos greatest pleasure is to lift our burdens from us and carry them for us. Jesus came, so we wouldnt have to bear our burdens on our own. He came to be our burden bearer. What a beautiful gift and a loving Savior He is. God sent His only Son, for us. Pause and ponder the magnitude of The Fathers love for you today. This is the season when we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Lets not forget to behold the true meaning of why we acknowledge Christmas and that God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that we would not perish but have everlasting life (John 3: 16). Release your burden today, to the One who loves you enough, to carry it for you. Merry Christmas everyone! You are surely Loved! Holly ❤️
