Cast your whole vote, not a strip of paper merely, but your whole influence. A minority is powerless while it conforms to the majority; it is not even a minority then; but it is irresistible when it clogs by its whole weight. Dont think that by simply voting that you 1) making your voice heard, 2) are making a difference, or 3) are doing anything that will cause positive change. Instead of espousing your civic tastes but once every 2 years, LIVE them with your whole being. Sure, you can vote. Hell, Ive voted in every election I have been eligible to so, but Ive never been so delusional to think that MY VOTE COUNTS. If anything, it is more of a masturbatory act than one that moves society forward. So go ahead and vote. And when you do, do it with the full knowledge that it means nothing. As such, feel free to indulge your conscious, or even just your wild curiosity. But if you want to make a REAL difference, you are going to have to BE that difference.
