Casting Call For HIV+ Men & Women I am looking for Latin/Hispanic and African American HIV+ Men & Women age range of 21-35 to participate in a photo shoot. No modeling experience is necessary, but you must be HIV+ (we will need a doctor’s note before the shoot), be responsible/reliable, like having your picture taken and be comfortable with other people knowing your hiv status. Pay is $5,000, which includes any travel time, your time at the photo shoot and the right to publish the photo for 3 years in any print, digital and electronic media the US. (No TV) The photo shoot will be in New York City (we handle travel arrangements and costs). The shoot is tentatively scheduled for the week of 5/12. You must live in the US and either be a citizen or have current working papers. Please email casting@marthalazar before 5/2 and include ALL the following: 1. A few very recent photos (you can even send cell phone photos, just try to send ones that are good quality and look like you do now). Send close-ups and a full- length. Casual photos are okay, but try and keep them as professional as possible. 2. Your name 3. Phone numbers and email where you can be reached 4. Where you live (what town or city) 5. What hiv meds you are currently taking 6. Tell me if you have modeled for any HIV-related campaigns before (and if so tell me about it) or if you are a PEER for any hiv pharmaceutical products. We cannot use anyone who is in an ad that is currently running. What happens after you submit your photos? If you are chosen, I will be in touch with you.
