Casting Call For a short film. Shooting October 31st with November 1st as a back up day. Shooting near downtown St. Paul, MN. Seeking to cast male and female lead. Seeking creative actors looking 20-30 years old. Synopsis Set at the base of a cliff, the story follows two individuals, lost in the wilderness, struggling to survive together. They happen upon a tall radio tower at the top of the cliff, and realize that they can use it to broadcast an SOS signal. However, the two must decide who will be the one to take the risk of scaling the 100ft tower to broadcast the signal, while acknowledging their mutual fear of losing one another and being left to survive on their own. The Roles: Laura: Our female protagonist. Strong and independent but in the struggle for survival finds her strength challenged and her fear of being alone brought to the surface. Evan: Our male protagonist. Lacking in confidence finds he is willing to do what it takes to survive. His experience challenges him physically and psychologically. *Must be willing/able to climb rocks (will never be far off the ground, we will use creative angles and close ups to make it look as if you are high off the ground). **Must be willing to get dirty and have fake blood applied to you. This is a non-paying gig, you will receive a meal on shoot day and a copy of the film for your reel. This film will be submitted to festivals, local and in other states. We plan to shoot this film Thursday October 31st from 1pm to 6pm with Friday November 1st in the morning from 8am to 1pm as a back up day. The plan is to shoot the film in one day.
