Castlebar Celtic won 5-0 away to Cork at the weekend in the Women’s National League, while Sligo Rovers beat Salthill Devon 7-4 in the U19 League. Ruairi Keating scored a hat-trick for Rovers, while Liam Flately and Ciaran Brennan were also among the goals. The Sligo-Leitrim U18 side also picked up an impressive win, beating the Donegal League 3-1 in Gweedore. In junior soccer, Strand Celtic and Ballisodare United are both through to the fourth round of the FAI Junior Cup. Strand beat Claremorris and Ballisodare were too strong for Strokestown in Sunday’s third round ties. In Donegal, St Catherine’s drew 2-2 with Rathmullan in the Premier League thanks to goals from Jason Noctor and Christopher Cunningham; while David Harron, Ryan Early and David Bustard were among the goals as Donegal Town beat Curragh Athletic 4-2. In Division One, Eany Celtic went down 6-2 to Keadue Rovers, while Dunkineely Celtic beat Lagan Harps 3-2. And in Division Two, Copany Rovers beat Raphoe Town 2-0, while Drumbar drew one-all with Letterbarrow.
