Please, tell everyone you know to call Diane Feinstein tonight, to call all of your and other peoples Senators and tell them you are opposed to his confirmation that will put him in a position of judgeship for the rest of his life, virtually unimpeachable. Tell them that if they vote to confirm him, this will be a stain on their careers that nobody will forget next election. For him to have written the Drone memos that takes a fatal blow to the protection of life provided by our Constitution, it means this man has no respect for life and should never be put into a position of authority. The truth is that these drones kill far more innocent people than those who have been targeted. We know that one person was killed simply because he filed a lawsuit against the United States. We do not know if these people targeted are guilty of the things that they say they are. Those targeted simply may know too much. Also, for him to have written those memos, it means he must have a very close relationship with the intelligence community. Feinstein said so herself. Let me remind you that it was the intelligence community that lied us into war that bankrupted our country and took the lives of over a million Iraqis. An organization that is capable of doing this is capable of anything. Please, get on your phones and tell everybody you know to do what they can do to not let this happen. Call the senators. Make those phones ring. Leave messages. Light this up like we did Syria. People who advocate social justice like myself will be less safe if a man like this is allowed to be a judge.
