But enough about my plans... So, I was reading the comments under the story, and a guy named Jim L, said, I havent read the Koran, but.... Then he made some good points about religion being used for evil and then a bunch of people told him he was stupid, several went went all after 9/11 we should nuke all Muslims, blah, blah, ignorant rants, blah. I told Jim, the same thing Ive said a thousand other times. Today Im posting this, my standard Islam vs the World screed and then, ever after, I can just put a link back here. Here it is. The Koran has the same kinds of overt, kill em all and let God [Allah] sort em out verses my Old Testament has. The problem is that the nut job radical Imams dont them move on to the love, grace and sharing parts of the Koran, that [again] the OT also has. So, when people start telling you that Islam is ALL about hate and murder, tell them to explain to you WHY then, the openness and Love among Christians, caused hundreds of years of atrocities in Europe, and early America. Their answer better be that the people were told by their Kings and religious leaders that those people over there are apostates, heretics, and should be killed, ...for God has told us so!!!!, and it was all about power and money. Thats the religious AND historical truth. It was BS when Catholics and Protestants taught that kind of superiority crap. It was BS when the Nazis and the Empire of Japan taught that kind superiority crap. It was wrong when the Communists / Stalinists / Socialists taught that kind of superiority crap. So guess what Jim, its BS when Islamic Radical leaders teach it to their people now TOO. Sadly the truth is, Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all based on the same original words and prophets. But over time, MEN have subverted and perverted Gods word. And while many of you [who have NEVER read the Bible or taken a religion class in your lives] are screaming at your monitors, saying Im wrong, Id tell you to look up what I said, do your homework. Remember that in the last 40 years, weve seen the rise and fall of Jim Jones, David Koresh and Fred Phelps. That leaves out the worrying fact that Charlie Manson quoted the Bible. The books, nor the words in them, arent the problem folks. The problem is hatred and ignorance. And if you dont read a Bible, read a Torah or read a Koran, but you want to run your mouth about how ignorant they are...go look in a mirror!
