Cat of the week: Marmalade! aarcs.ca/portfolio-item/a22417085/ When I was first rescued I was really scared, no I mean really scared, I didn’t trust anyone. But after a few months, I found that that humans are incredible. They offer me food, they play with me, and best of all the pet me. I am so happy now that I come into a room, sit down and just start to purr, ’cause I am just that happy! The only thing I really do not understand, is why people keep picking me up. I love to sit on their lap, to sleep with them at night, to play with their feet, but being picked up, I can do it, but I usually jump down again pretty quickly. My foster mom has never met a cat as happy as I am now, I really will walk into a room, find a comfy place to sit and just start purring, and why wouldn’t I, the world is full of people! When my foster mom has new people over I am extremely social with them and really people fall in love with me quite easily! I really need to find a home soon, so come for a visit!
