When an alarmed customer told my Garden Dept cashier about a Copperhead sunning itself by the carts, I recruited my compadre Will from Garden to help me relocate the snake; I got a replacement hoe handle and pinned it behind the head, and we captured it under a Homer Bucket. Slipping some cardboard under the bucket, we then lifted the snake onto a cart and transported it to a natural area with a pind beside the building. I tipped the bucket and persuaded the rascal to slither away into the grass. Fare well, Buddy! Stay out of the Home Depot Garden Department, please!
