Catch Report w/e 25/7/14 Wow what a week despite the scorching conditions, and the persistent northerly winds. Phil Scarratt Had a productive 48 hours netted a total of 8 fish including 3 upper twenties to 28lb 1oz all fish fell to Critically balanced Sticky Baits Krill fished on a 6ft clear area over a 3kg spread of boilies. Regular Brendan Cartwright hauled 7 fish including 2 thirties to 33lb 7oz, yet again the Krill producing the bites, all fish were taken close to a weed at 50 yards using a krill popup and generously fed boilie. Lee Keeley effort was rewarded this week with a 29lb 12oz mirror caught on a Buchu Berry Popup fished over 3kg of mixed pellet, Ashley Brown fished a standard hair rig to bag a 28lb 2oz mirror during his stay. Tom Reed Also got amongst the fish nailing 4, including a 25lb 7oz grassie one of the only 6 in the lake, he fish fake corn over a heavy bed of mixed freebies, to a margin tree line. Paul Stenner managed 2 fish during his week session, he used a chod rig to gain both bites fish over a number of free offering, he was rewarded with 27lb common and a upper double mirror. Brett oconnell also bagged a brace of fish topped with a 31lb mirror taken on a simple pop up rig over hemp.
