Catonsville families, we need your help to finish Comet Park! Exciting things are happening at Comet Park. A new Concession Stand is opening, complete with new restrooms! The Comet Booster club has been working diligently to get funding for new Bleachers with a Press Box. The new bleachers will increase the seating capacity from 500 to 2,000 spectators. A grant for $125,000 has been secured; however, matching funds are needed. Please consider making a monetary donation to the "Catonsville Community Foundation", 1904 Oak Lodge Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. If every family in Catonsville could donate $10-20, there would be enough funds to finish the renovations. The renovations at Comet Park will benefit youth in the Catonsville Rec and Parks programs as well as the local business community. More information can be found at: finishcometpark.weebly/
