Caught the 6.30am., bus to Melb., yesterday morning to start celebrating Peter Savages big 70th., birthday! Checked into our fabulous Hotel (5 minutes walk away from Sthn., Cross - even with my stuffed ankles!) Top floor 10th., suite thank you! Amazing views. Then off to see Les Miserables, perfect 5th., row seats just to the side - bloody awesome! Then away (after nearly being skittled by a Taxi that ran a red light!) to the Colonial Tram Car Restaurant (yet again - just keep going back!) With Tony and Lisa (photos attached) as always we had a ball but were ready for more so off across the road to the Casino! Needless to say it was not a late night but a something whatever time morning. Finally to the Trams which were absolutely sardine packed back to the Hotel - peace quiet, great night lights but Pete wanted More! So a couple of glasses & he was comatose. Bus home at 8.50am this morning to be greeted by one over the top Mirela and a more sedate Jay. All in all a Bloody Good Night!
