Causes of low blood pressure; Hypotension or more commonly known as low blood pressure is a term when the pressure of the blood exerted against the walls of the blood vessels after and during every heartbeat is lower than normal. Constant low blood pressure can obstruct oxygen and other important nutrients from flowing towards the brain, which can cause fatality or even death. some of the prominent causes of low blood pressure. 1: Dehydration Dehydration is one of the most common issue. The reason behind dehydration can be prolonged nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. The other reason for dehydration can be exercise, too much sweating and heat stroke. The symptoms are lightheadedness, dizziness or fainting. 2: Bleeding Blood loss whether extreme or light can also lead to low blood pressure. The bleeding can be caused due to an accident, operation or any other reason. 3: Organ inflammation Severe organ inflammation inside the body can also cause low blood pressure. when your organ is inflamed, fluids leaves blood vessels to enter the inflamed tissues around the organ and surrounding area, absorbing blood and thus reducing its volume. 4: Weak heart muscles Weak heart muscle causes your heart to fail and reduce the amount of blood it pumps. The reason for weak heart muscles can be multiple or repeated small heart attacks or infections of the heart muscles due to some viruses. 5: Heart block A heart blockage can occur due to a heart attack or due to atherosclerosis. In a heart block, the special tissues that transmit electrical current in the heart are damaged and this prevents some or all of the electrical signals from reaching various parts of the heart, 6: Abnormally fast heart rate A very fast heart rate can also cause low blood pressure. When the heart beat is irregular or too fast then the ventricles of the heart also contracts at an unusual rate. Abnormal heart rhythms can also cause low blood pressure. 7: Severe infections Septic shock or sever infections can also lower your blood pressure level. It occurs when bacteria from an original place say, lungs or the abdomen enter into the bloodstream. These bacteria then start producing toxins that affect blood vessels which lowers down the blood pressure. 8: Nutrition deficiency We all need nutrients for our well being and good health. Even a minor deficiency in any time of nutrients can cause low blood pressure. 9: Endocrine problems Endocrine problems like hypothyroidism, parathyroid disease, adrenal insufficiency, low blood sugar and diabetes can also cause low blood pressure
