Caution: If you are sensitive and love animals this post *may* upset you. The first time I heard this song, I was on my way to my nieces birthday party. I was in the car with my mom and brother. I am in the front passenger seat, all is well in my world. Drinking kombucha heading to Riverside. I look out the window and to my shock and disappointment I saw a baby doggy on the freeway, legs up from rigor mortis. I never handle seeing dead animals well. But this time I began crying hysterically with a pain that could have only been empathy for its family members. I was hysterical and was 10 mins away from the party...and the words of this song played. My mom and I made eye contact. This is our life. Why am I so emotional?
