Cde Andy your unrelenting dedicated work was exemplary and outstanding. I cannot say that I am in any way surprised as it is what I have come to expect from you. You are a true servant of your nation, a patriot and an unsung hero of media in Antigua and a man whose tireless contributions I do not believe is recognized in the way it ought to be. You have an integral role to play in the critical nation building work ahead and I trust that those who are in positions to make decisions recognize this. I salute patriots such as yourself and you can rest assured that you will have my eternal support. Antigua has been good to me and my wife and it was an honour to have been a part of the effort to keep persons informed of the latest results via social media and we have together, along with Jon Whyte laid the foundations for others to build on in future elections. Jon and his team who hosted the historic debate months ago are the type of leaders Antigua is blessed to have and whose contributions will make this a better, stronger and vibrant nation. I want to echo your commendations to all those you mentioned, especially Gina who was equally outstanding in her work behind the scenes. I especially wish to recognise the tremendous job done by Anne who I have come to respect as a thorough professional from since her time at Sandals when we worked closely on other projects. She is an undisputed asset to ABEC and any other entity which is fortunate to have her services. I salute her. I also want to thank the hard working team at Observer Media Group for their first class coverage and cannot give enough kudos to Sam Roberts who has distinguished himself among the best broadcasters Antigua and Barbuda has ever produced. His anchoring of the coverage was world class. Anika Kentish was the first to point this out and congratulate Sam. He deserves every credit and recognition (in addition to several days of rest and a handsome bonus). Eustace Samuel, the quiet man behind the scenes at Observer often goes unrecognized, he too is a tower of dedication and Observer Media is fortunate to have him. Bless up and one love to all.
