Cedar Point will pay tribute to members of the military this Memorial Day weekend by offering servicemen and women free admission to the park. As part of the park’s “Armed Forces Weekend” celebration, all active, retired and honorably-discharged members of the United States Armed Forces will receive free entry into both Cedar Point Amusement Park and Soak City, according to public relations manager Bryan Edwards. With a an active duty ID, retired personnel ID, Veterans Affairs ID, or copy of their DD-214 discharge papers and a photo ID, service members and veterans will be given free admission to the park May 23-26. Admittance to Soak City is also free beginning May 24 when the waterpark opens, through May 26, Edwards said. Family members will also receive a discount of $21 when they purchase a regular ticket for $38.99, he added.
