One party did the journey in nineteen hours, this was Mr J Maddigan’s “Mount Cooper” car. (Mr Maddigan, owner of the Ceduna Hotel) WCS. 7 January 1927: Ceduna. The new bar of the Ceduna hotel is now finished, being a semi-island bar. Mr J Madigan is to be highly complimented on his enterprise, as since taking over the hotel, the alterations, additions and extensions have been numerous and costly.
