But please remember, that even when in relaxation mode, our minds still need to take into consideration safety measures for an enjoyable time. Happy BC Day from your friends at the Camping and RVing BC Coalition! Help Spread the Word not Fire! BC‘s very hot and dry summer has put the forests at high risk for fires. The forests need our help in keeping them safe. Together let’s spread the word. According to the Wildlife Management Branch, the number of wildfires that occur on average every year in British Columbia, is 2,000, with half caused by people and the other half caused by lightning. We could prevent on average 1,000 forest fires a year!!! Follow each municipalities rules on campfires!
