It’s the beginning of the sign of Cancer. The fourth Saturday of June is The Great American Backyard Campout, American Kids Day, and this weekend the American Radio Relay League has their “Field Day”. Tomorrow, Sunday, June 23rd will be Great American Backyard Campout, National Pecan Sandy Day, National Pink Day/ Gay Pride Day, Let It Go Day, Public Service Day, Typewriter Day, Bullwhacker Day, Audi Murphy Day, Discovery Day (Canada), and Great Purple Hoo-ha Day!Midsummer celebrations continue: Kupala (Slavic, associated w/ St. John’s Day/Midsummer) Ligo Day /Jani (Latvia)/ Gruagah (Celtic). The 23rd is the first Full Moon in June, which makes it Ryan Moran Day. June is National Camping Month, and International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This is National Camping Week amd Amateur Radio Week.
