Celebrating 50 for Malawi Next year I will be 50. To celebrate this milestone I am planning to go to Malawi with a group from Glasgow, building and renovating school rooms for the local children. Its the best way I can think of to celebrate 50 years and all the good fortune Ive had so far. Im planning a number of events to raise money so our team can do as much as possible for children who have lives that are much more difficult than mine. The first of these events is Westport Sea to Summit on November 8. Its two 4.5k runs; 2 cycles one of which is 35k with 15 degree gradients and in between all that is a climb of Croagh Patrick Irelands holy mountain. All in all Im hoping to do it in 4.5 to 5 hours. These kids have next to nothing so education is vital to their futures. Helping provide decent facilities supports that need. ANY financial support you can give will help enormously.
