Celebrating Christmas, new year or any non-muslim festival is a religious innovation that has no basis in Islamic Shareeah. The prophet (saw) warned us against introducing something new in to the religion.. The prophet(Saw) said: whoever introduces something new in our matter(religion), that does not originally belong to it, it will be rejected [AlBukhaari and Muslim] when you cant follow the foot steps of our prophet(saw) then how can u celebrate his milad?? i try to keep myself away as much as i can from the Un-islamic way.. But whenever i do that my frnds would call me with list of names like Wahabis... Any ideas to help?
