Celebrating Dr. Jane Goodall Birthday in Egypt – Today March 29th, 2014, Egypt Giza Zoo, Management; Central Zoos and Wildlife Director Dr. Fatma Tammam; General Manager of Zoos Dr. Essam Batawi, Manager of Giza Zoo Dr. Maha Saber, Vets, Keepers together with Jane Goodall Italy President Daniela De Dunno, and animal protection advocates Hatem Moushir and Dina Zulfikar Dina Zulfikar (member of committee representing civil society , advocate and member of JGI) celebrated Dr. Jane Goodalls Birthday. All showed thanks and gratitude to the noble work of Dear Dr. Jane Goodall the legendary woman and the United Nations Ambassador of Peace, will remain greatful to JGI. Happy Birthday Dr. Jane Goodall - from Egypt - We love you primatologist and humanitarian . Born on April 3, 1934, in London, England, Jane Goodall set out to Tanzania to study wild chimpanzees by sitting amongst them, by passing more rigid procedures and uncovering discoveries about primate behavior that have continued to shape scientific discourse. She is a highly respected member of the world scientific community and is a staunch advocate of ecological preservation. Dr. Jane Goodall contributed in many aspects in Egypt for improving conditions of primates; chimps, orangutans in Giza Zoo, through cooperation and coordinated efforts wwith JGI, grouping and behavior specialist Hilda Tresz was sent as mandate to Egypt to help in grouping and husbandry of chimps in Giza Zoo, through cooperation with dear Daniela De Dunno, President of JGI Italy cooperation was arranged to supply water discpensers and special sure medicine for sadating primates when needed to conduct health check or transfer.
