Celebrating the harvest at this time of year is an ancient tradition found in most cultures one way or another around our world. Our American tradition, although fairly new on the history timeline, brings up images of pilgrims and native Americans dining together. The latter being highly instrumental in the newcomers success in surviving in their new land. A perfect example of how helping one another and working together for the good of all can produce a bountiful harvest. And this time of year we celebrate the earths wonderful gifts it gives us in return for our hard work. Whether your harvest is large or small this year: be thankful . For the sadness and the joys this year has brought: be thankful. In everything, give thanks. I dont know why, but a gracious heart, and an attitude of appreciation and thankfulness opens doors bringing about solutions and answers to questions and challenges we might be facing. Perhaps one day our mathematicians will be able to voice this phenomena in a formula. I just know it works. So Happy Thanksgiving and may you find much to be thankful for today and each day.
