Celebration time of an iconoclast of our Town, for adding one to his age today. Lo! some ten scores of years ago a child was born to Ikem family of Akiyi Village and was named Chigozie Sabastine. He is peers and older friends alike addresses him as Dikeanagbalu-izu Chigozie Ikem. He grew up at Abakaliki where the Parents gave him up to Chukwu to serve in His Vine yard hence he attended St; Augustines Seminary Ezzamgbo and Pontifica Urbanian University, Rome-Italy which is an affiliate Senior Seminary School. He proceeded to Ebonyi State University as he chose to serve the Supreme Being as a laity and came out in flying colors in Economics. Today! Dikeanagbalu-izu is a banker and member Chartered Institute of Economics -- Ebonyis State Chapter. Chigozie believes in that Igbo axiom which states adi akwu ofu ebe, enene mmonwu as diversity is sine-quanon to success in life. To the glory of Chukwu, he is the managing Director of JEYOU CONSULT. This is a contracting company that delivers stone, quarry, sand, and chippings to builders. He is a very religious person as such does not play with his Catholic faith. Also, he is intelligent, smart, very divergent in opinion and character that one of his close associates described him in a job reference piece he wrote for him as a dedicated, hard working, zealous, talented, multi-task, sports enthusiast, and gentleman who is always outstanding within a crowd. Ladies and Gentlemen of this honorable house Dike remains friends to all as he mingles with the floats am and jetsam of the crime de-la crème of the society in spite of his young age. Let us toast to the glorification of Chukwu that He will grant him his most inner heart desire to find the bone of his bone in no distant future, and for longevity to remain his portion in life success.
