Doherty was the winner of a Cyclone Card Contest where students had the opportunity to be entered in a drawing for a Toshiba laptop. Centenary College students used their Cyclone Card 100 times to purchase services at local businesses over a two-month period. The purpose of this contest was to stimulate the use of the Cyclone Card in Hackettstown businesses.
