Centenary Year Celebration for the Daughters of St. Paul founding (in Italy and for the World) 5 February 2015 Solemn opening of the Centenary Year in the Queen of Apostles Sanctuary 6 June 2015 Round Table discussion in the Augustinium Auditorium, Via Paolo VI, 25 (be-hind the Bernini Collonade in St. Peter’s Square). The Round Table will be en-riched with the musical Sogno di donna (A Woman’s Dream), centered on Thecla Merlo, by Daniele Ricci and Tonino Lasconi. 12 June 2015 Animation at Castagnito (Alba), the birthplace of Maestra Thecla. Guided tours of the Merlo House/Museum have been scheduled, along with a meeting with young people, a Eucharistic Celebration in St. John the Baptist Church, and a staging of the musical Sogno di donna, open to the public. 13 June 2015 Eucharistic Celebration in the Church of the Divine Master, Alba, presided over by Bishop Giacomo Lanzetti. An international group of FSP Junior Professed sisters will make their perpetual professions on that occasion. The Liturgy will be followed by refreshments in a nearby hall and the staging of the musical, Sogno di donna, open to the public. 15 June 2015 Eucharistic Celebration in the Queen of Apostles Sanctuary, Rome Other events on the Centenary agenda: – Publication of an updated edition of the biography of Sr. Thecla Merlo by Domenico Agasso, with a DVD of the film Una Vita per il Vangelo (A Life for the Gospel) in attachment. – Widescale reproduction of the DVD, Una vita per il Vangelo, in 7 languages so as to help as many people as possible get to know Maestra Thecla. – A 9-panel display illustrating the life of Prima Maestra – A Centenary hymn entitled Sulle orme di San Paolo (In the Footsteps of St. Paul), written by Sr. Annamaria Galliano, fsp, and set to music by Fabio Massimillo. – A new documentary on the life of Maestra Thecla (still in preparation). – The reprinting and translation of the texts: Our Beginnings and Maestra Thecla in the Thought of Blessed James Alberione (in preparation).
