Centerville Library is seeking actors to participate in a historical dramatization, on July 19th, which will be part of Centervilles Bicentennial celebration. This outdoor drama will be set in the year 1860. Actors are needed to portray a lively crowd that is witnessing a debate pitting Union supporters against anti-war and Southern supporters. The crowd will be actively interjecting and responding to the debate. (This drama will be based on an actual bit of local history, when a group of Butternuts, or Southern sympathizers, arrived in town, were identified as rebel invaders, and caused a bit of panic as local forces organized to repel them!
