Ceremony dedicated to opening of the new mosque named after Aymani Kadyrova took place on May 16, 2014 in Argun, Chechen Republic. It was attended by the Chechen leadership, religious leaders of the region, prominent Islamic scholars from Egypt, Yemen, Palestine, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, the UK, Austria as well as politicians, scientists, scholars and public figures from Russia and regular Chechens. The Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has congratulated the residents of the republic with the opening of a new mosque, stressing that the mosque was built in the honor of all the Chechen mothers. The construction of the mosque began with a solemn ceremony of laying a capsule in January 2011.
