Ceres caravan and camping, Outside the town of Ceres, resting on the farm Erfdeel, is the nature-boasting and rest-assuring Matroosberg Private Nature Reserve. This self-catering establishment stretches up to the Matroosberg Peak and is a gateway to the panoramic views of the mountains and nature’s captivating wonders. There is plenty of accommodation, which is ideal for groups of friends and families. Goatherds House fully captures the rustic feel with its style and no electricity. The Goatherds as well as the Lakeside House each sleep six people, are fully equipped and have en-suite bathrooms. The BZN units are similar to bachelor’s flats; they sleep 4-6 people, are en-suite with showers only and have fully equipped kitchenettes. The Traditional Campsite sleeps six people and has an ablution block. The Private Campsite sleeps 10 guests and has a private bathroom for each stand. At the foot of the mountain is the Ski Hut which sleeps up to 20 people and has no electricity to give you that good old mountain camping atmosphere.
