Certain things/situations get REAL when it affects you or someone you know. This morning, after hearing about the plane that lost signal in Africa. I got a little worried about one of my dear friends…because this particular friend is always traveling in and around that area. Thankfully, that friend responded back to my message to let me know they were safe and was in their home country currently. That gave me a sigh of relief. Which made me realize that when things don’t affect us personally… some of us… could care less about what’s going on around us. It’s not until it affects us personally that we care about a situation or a person. I want to encourage you to not wait until something personally affects you to do something about it. BUT if you see something that’s wrong, do something about it…say something. Whatever, you can do to help a situation do it. Even if all you can do is PRAY or report an incident. Do it. Let’s all strive to make a difference in our communities as best we can.
