Certified Pharmacy Technician for 30 hours per week (Tucson Area) Prepares medications under the direction of a pharmacist. May measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications. Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. (For inpatient pharmacy): Prepares intravenous (IV) packs, using sterile technique, under supervision of hospital pharmacists. Yrs of Experience in Specialty: One year experience within the last 3 years in retail or hospital pharmacy. Minimum Education: High school diploma. Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program. Certification/State License: C.Ph.T.- Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate required. Work will be Monday thru Friday for thirty hours per week (six hours per day).
