Chaaah! Found an MA thesis mentioning the Maori and Pasifika library space we created a few years back Physically and socially, this area offers a comfortable and familiar environment for Pacific and Maori students to study in group. It is also a place where they can politicise their identity, as this space, designed just for them, contrasts with the other spaces (Western and white) usually found in universities in Labelling Identities: the Views and Experiences of Second Generation Pacific Peoples in New Zealand by Martine Tousignant Gauthier (MA Thesis 2013).
