Chad never ceases to amaze me. I took Laney to tumbling tonight as is our routine every Monday night. She just finished up her lesson and was beyond excited to tell me that it looks as if she will be moving up a class at the start of the next session. As she was telling me this, she was putting on her warm clothes. When she had everything on I lifted up her coat and there it was......a dime. We looked at each other with huge smiles on our faces and she said, Daddy was here Mommy!! He knows that I am doing a good job at tumbling!! I told her that she was exactly right, he does know, and that he is always watching over the four of us. Good thing she was watching a movie with headphones on during our drive home because I was crying my eyes out. Partially because I know he is watching over us and he leaves signs to prove so (I put that coat on the table. There was no dime there when I set it on the table.) and partially because he isnt physically here to see all the amazing things his kids do. He isnt physically here to see Bubby Cahoon play an awesome game of basketball, Maddie Cahoon get a wonderful report card and look more and more like a beautiful young lady everyday, or to see Laney rock it at tumbling. Even though I am comforted by the fact that we have a guardian angel, tonight my heart is breaking for all the milestones he is physically missing. Praying for comfort and strength as we continue this journey without him physically here.
