Chai Latte (done in 1.5ltr cooker) I froze my leftover strained tea for another day! 6 cups water 4 slices fresh ginger, peeled 6 green cardamom pods, crushed 6 whole cloves 1 cinnamon stick 2 whole black peppercorns 5 black tea bags (optional – condensed milk to serve) Directions 1. Pour water into your slow cooker. Stir in the ginger, cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and peppercorns. Turn to High; simmer for 3 hours on high lid on, no towel under lid. 2. Steep tea bags in the hot spiced water for 5-7 minutes. Strain tea through a cloth (I used a pudding cloth) into a clean container and serve with your preferred milk.
