Chai, the domestic fox is always busy. The other night he lunged for a young skunk that had gotten into his cage, and we watched in horror as he got skunked in the face. The skunk skedaddled out of there, and hopefully there was a lesson learned! Picture two is of his leftovers. He generally does a ceremonial covering of the dish as he uses his nose in a sweeping motion and pretends to bury it. Unfortunately, we gave him a kitty litter box, and now he scoops the litter out, flips the dish and places the newspaper lining of the box over the whole mess. Keeping his cage minty fresh is a full time job. Oh, and it all smells like skunk!
