Chain Off 2014 brought a lot of awareness to Kentucky. DDB - TopicsExpress

Chain Off 2014 brought a lot of awareness to Kentucky. DDB founder Tamira Thayne and I arrived at the Capital around 8:30 this morning, unloaded our doghouses and chains and copped a squat in front of the Capital until 4:00pm. We were joined by two other SOAR volunteers, Bobbie Hudnall, and Johnnie Woods, along with a host of several others throughout the day. Even Fluff the cat came to say Dogs on Chains ought to be Outlawed! People visiting the Capital stopped to ask what we were doing and everyone was very supportive. The media came out and interviewed us too. Thanks to Channels 18 WLEX, 36 WTVQ. and The State Journal. Special thanks to Frankfort Magistrate Michael Turner for coming out before work and chaining yourself along with us. Your ratings just went up:) Thats one Politician that would have my vote if I lived in Franklin Co.!
