Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik Placed Under House Arrest United Nations And International Community Should Leave The Attitude Of Playing Fire Fighters Between India And Pakistan And Try To Eradicate And Solve The Root Cause Of Fire: Yasin Malik Srinagar: Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik has been placed under house arrest from last night. Police and other forces cordoned the residence of Yasin sahib late last night and placed him under house arrest thus confining him to his room. Meanwhile chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik in a press statement issued today said that 27th October is the blackest day of our history when our freedom was snatched by military might and people of Jammu Kashmir are fighting for their freedom since then. Hailing the statement of UN secretary general Mr. Ban Ki Moon on continues firing and shelling across cease fire line and international border between Indian and Pakistani forces which has put the lives and properties of millions of humans living across these lines to jeopardy, Yasin sahib said that secretary general’s statement expressing his disquietude on the continued war like situation has once again proved that international community cannot ignore this continues hostility, but at the same time people of Jammu Kashmir who are the worst and direct victims of this enmity want to pose a question to the respected secretary general and international community that they always interfere when hostilities between India and Pakistan reach to the boiling point and succeed to defuse tensions between these two countries. But the history of last 65 years is witness to the fact that never has UN or any other international leader or country done anything to eradicate the root cause of this tension that is continuously making the lives of millions of human’s hell. Yasin Malik said that United Nations and international community has been behaving like fire fighters and trying to extinguish the fire that occasionally flares up time and again between India and Pakistan but always ignore the root cause of this fire. he said that whole world including India and Pakistan know that dispute on Jammu Kashmir is the root cause of this tension and it is this issue that has not only destroyed three generations of kashmiri’s but also put to jeopardy the prosperity ,progress and peace of the subcontinent. Yasin Malik said that time has come when United nations and the international community will have to rise above their politics and try to eradicate the root cause of this continued hostility and solve the Jammu Kashmir issue and thus save millions and billions of futures . Yasin Malik hoped that the experience of 65 years will prove enough and wisdom ,humanity and statesmanship will prevail and United nations, international community ,India and Pakistan accepting kashmiri’s as owners of Jammu Kashmir, will join hands to solve Kashmir issue according to the wishes, aspirations and sacrifices of people of Jammu Kashmir
